Estate Planning. We can plan for the distribution of your property to meet your wishes while minimizing gift, estate and inheritance taxes. In that connection. We can prepare the appropriate documents: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and proxies.

Probate. We can represent you in probating a will, opposing probate, bringing or opposing administration when there is no will, bringing an accounting on your behalf, objecting to an accounting, compelling someone else to account, or representing you in other estate or trust litigation.

Estate Administration. If you are named in a will as an executor, or are legally entitled to be appointed an administrator where there is no will, we can represent you in all steps from the opening to the closing of the estate. This will include the probate of the will or granting of administration, the collection of assets, payment of debts, preparation of estate or inheritance tax returns, formal or informal accountings, and the distribution of the balance of the estate.

Elder Law. We can give you or your loved ones protection against the legal problems of aging. Included is the preparation of powers of attorney, trusts, special needs trusts or other documents to help you avoid needing a guardian. If needed, we can bring proceedings to appoint a guardian for a loved one or defend against an application for guardianship. We can also help to protect your assets from spending down for nursing home care.

Real Estate. We can represent you in the sale, purchase, leasing or zoning of residential, or commercial real property.
